WILKINSON CENTER ANNOUNCES 2023 CAN DO! LUNCHEON

April 3, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

$50 – $175

Wilkinson Center announces its 2023 Can Do! Luncheon on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Dallas Country Club.

This year’s 11thannual luncheon will be chaired by Liza Collins and Rachel Stephens, who were last year’s recipients of the Can Do! Award for honoring the legacy of the late Ruth Collins Sharp Altshuler by continuing her long-standing food drive benefiting Wilkinson Center and three other Dallas nonprofits. Collins and Stephens collect food each year at their children’s schools, their homes and in partnership with NorthPark Center, the Girl Scouts, their sorority and social circles.

Both co-chairs look forward to raising funds and awareness for Wilkinson Center’s mission and programs.

Whether it’s a path that leads to employment, a path to financial stability, or a path that puts food on the table, we are passionate about empowering families to reach self-sufficiency. For over 40 years, Wilkinson Center’s dedicated staff and volunteers have committed to serving the whole family and every generation. From the youth who need school supplies and food, to adults who seek job training and education, to the senior citizens who yearn for social support, Wilkinson Center is there to provide wraparound services and a map for success. Together, we can serve all of our community. All ages. All stages.

The Can Do! Luncheon will include a reception, seated luncheon and recognition of the recipients of the 2023 Can Do!Awards. Tables begin at $3,000.00; individual tickets are $300.00 and are available now. For more information contact Andrea Jones, 972.284.0315 or Andrea_Jones@wilkinsoncenter.org.
