Santa Paws is Coming to Town!
Dallas Animal Services is one of the only open admission shelters in the area, meaning it is obligated to take in every animal that turns up at their door regardless of health condition or if there’s physical space. Very few people realize that this makes DAS the 4th largest municipal shelter in the USA, taking in over 20,000 animals a year!
This holiday season, Must_Have_Mutts has partnered with multiple businesses across the metroplex to bring joy to shelter pets this winter. 🐶❄️

All donations will be collected throughout the month of December and dispersed to the dogs at Dallas Animal Services!

At the end of the day, any toys or treats make a huge impact for shelter dogs. A full bag of donated bully sticks to a room full of 50 dogs results in literal silence as they enjoy their gift. As you can imagine, quiet in a shelter environment is hard to come by, and many of these dogs crave peace. Anything we can do as a community to provide just a little joy to these pups while they wait for their next family means the world to them! Please join me.
