Join us for a musical journey around the world! Beginning with Robert Schumann’s Of Many Lands and Peoples, the opening movement of his reflective Scenes from Childhood, we will continue our adventure to Indonesia, Spain, and France in Debussy’s Estampes, the Americas with Florence Price’s Fantasy Negré and Connor Chee’s Navajo Vocable for Piano. The program will also include western jazz-influenced Variations by Ukrainian composer Nikolai Kapustin and finally, Suite de Danzas Criollas by Alberto Ginastera.
