On September 19th, SuperVive will join nonprofits throughout the region for North Texas Giving Day, putting kindness front and center. For Aideé Granados, the founder and executive leader, this yearly event is about community, resiliency, and change rather than just raising money.

SuperVive is fundamentally based on the idea that community is a source of health. This is reflected in every workshop, program, and app feature. SuperVive guarantees that health is a collective empowerment rather than an individual burden by providing culturally appropriate wellness education to Hispanic women.

Over 83,000 hours of health education have now been provided to Hispanic women in the United States through SuperVive’s Wellness Experience, a year-long program that combines interactive workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and ongoing access to the SuperVive Comunidad app. The results are indisputable, In 2024 alone:

  • 94% of participants reported adopting healthier nutrition, mental health, and physical activity habits.
  • 96% strengthened their self-advocacy in healthcare settings.
  • 91% experienced measurable improvements in overall well-being.

Granados says, “This work is about more than habits.” “It’s about encouraging self-assurance, fortitude, and generational transformation.”

Yuliana, a Guanajuato mother who found her power again through El Camino Rojo, is a bright example. She not only restored her health but also encouraged her daughter to run her first 5K by getting up early to work out. She now refers to movement as her “oxygen,” a source of joy, patience, and clarity.

“A safe space filled with empathy, wisdom, inspiration, and sisterhood” is how another participant, Lisyareli, characterized her experience in the program. She developed enduring friendships, learnt how to take compassionate care of herself, and even volunteered to give back thanks to SuperVive.

In addition to educating women for the future, SuperVive is currently empowering daughters, fostering community-driven health, and bolstering families. Every donation made on this North Texas Giving Day will support the nonprofit’s SuperVive Wellness Experience, which aims to enroll at least 1,200 new members by 2026. Gifts of $10 or $1,000 will go directly toward life-changing Spanish-language health education.
