Dexter D. Evans: The Gift and Responsibility of Leadership
Dexter D. Evans loves writing thank you notes. Everything from the stationery to his custom wax stamp, reminds him of the connection and encouragement that helped him succeed. But that success did not come easily. Dexter’s path crossed through Paul Quinn College at a critical time for both students and President Michael Sorrell, forming a unique mentoring relationship. As Dexter begins his new role as Executive Director of the FRIENDS of Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy (BOMLA), he is drawing on the wisdom of mentors who saw his potential and highlighted his innate leadership gift.
