On Wednesday, December 18, Community Partners of Dallas held their Last Stop Holiday Shop & Holiday Party for their annual toy drive. The event welcomed EMPOWER caseworkers to the Community Partners of Dallas facility to enjoy a festive holiday party and to “shop” for the children that came on to their case loads after specific wishes were submitted in October.
Upon arrival, attendees were given a number to join the queue and were invited to enjoy holiday festivities in the Orix Caseworker Crossing area until their number was called to shop for gifts. This event not only provided a joyful experience for Dallas caseworkers but also ensured that children in need would receive special gifts during the holiday season. 1,401 children under EMPOWER’s care will receive special gifts, along with many other children that EMPOWER does not serve.
