Join Tim Cloward, author of The City That Killed the President for an engaging conversation: The Legacy of the Assassination of John F. Kennedy, held at Communities Foundation of Texas.

The free author talk event, including networking opportunities and complimentary light bites and drinks, will be held at Communities Foundation of Texas on Wednesday, September 25 at 5:30pm.

The conversation will center on the legacy of the assassination of John F. Kennedy following the 60th anniversary of this tragedy that altered the life of our city forever.

Communities Foundation of Texas and Deep Vellum Publishing present the Cause-Minded Conversation Series: We Are One City: Elevating the Story of Dallas centered on four major historical events and corresponding books published by Deep Vellum.

Deep Vellum has received an ArtsActivate grant from the City of Dallas Office of Arts & Culture to present this series of events focusing on some Deep Vellum’s LaReunion/Dallas-focused titles, centering discussions around community engagement. “The Story of Dallas” series asks questions about how a city can come together through stories to break down divisions.
