Upswell Summit

Independent Sector and Social Venture Partners (SVP) Dallas will host a national gathering of changemakers at the 2023 Upswell Summit in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas on November 15-17, 2023.

The 2023 Upswell Summit, powered by Independent Sector and SVP Dallas, will provide a central meeting place for nonprofit and foundation leaders, philanthropists, business and corporate leaders, activists, academics, journalists, and changemakers. Cross-sector leaders – including from The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Native Ways Federation, AmeriCorps, Edelman Data & Intelligence (DXI), Microsoft, Aspen Institute, and National Council of Nonprofits – will take the stage to offer candid insights about the health and future of the charitable sector.

The Summit’s speakers will dive into some of the nonprofit sector’s most challenging issues – paradigm shifts required to build trust, influence policy change, create stronger communities, and build inclusive workplaces. From sessions on American democracy, to artificial intelligence (AI), and radical philanthropy, the Summit will feature groundbreaking approaches to achieve equity, financial security, and wellbeing for the sector’s greatest asset – its people.
