Retracing the Steps – Opening Reception

Join us for the opening reception of the exhibition Retracing the Steps. In collaboration with the University Honors Program, art students will be presenting Retracing the Steps, which aims to expand the discussion beyond the classroom into the art gallery. Taking inspiration from the literary texts studied in WRTR 2305, artists will reexamine the main concepts and arguments of the readings in their art creations. By replacing the textual method with a visual one to convey certain ideas, organizers hope to spark new parallels, ideas and questions among the visitors.

Everyone is welcome to join the opening reception and celebrate the importance of analyzing and questioning the individual’s status, interaction with and contribution to the community. Light refreshments will be served.
