Pleasant Grove Community Forum

Somos Tejas has partnered with Pleasant Grove Unidos & Primos Dallas to host a Community Forum with elected officials Trustee Prisma Garcia & Councilmember Jaime Resendez. City Trustees serve on the board that manages the Dallas Employees’ Retirement Fund, overseeing pensions for city workers. Dallas Councilmembers shape city policy, vote on laws, approve the budget, and represent the needs of their district.

We’re inviting you to join us tomorrow for some comida gratis, ask these electeds your questions in-person, learn more about their priorities, and how their roles affect your daily lives. This is a community event and we encourage you to come as you are. Somos Tejas will be providing FREE food from the venue, El Padrino.
