OK2BX Film Festival

The OK2BX Fest Film Festival is an annual celebration highlighting the work of high school filmmakers. In its third year, the festival will take place at the historic Texas Theatre on April 14th at 4pm.
Attendees will enjoy screenings of short films from the finalists across the various categories of animation, inclusivity, kindness, LGBTQIA+, and smartphone, and the winners will be announced for each category.
The OK2BX Film Festival has garnered participation from filmmakers across Texas and beyond. Previous winners of the OK2BX Film Festival have gone on to attend award-winning film programs at universities like Savannah College of Art and Design, University of Texas at Austin, and more. The 2024 OK2BX Film Festival is supported by Texas Health, City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs, Dallas Mavericks, Commerce House, Southern Methodist University, MetroGraphics, and WFAA.
