Momentous Institute’s Changing the Odds conference brings together some of the world’s brightest minds in mental health and education who are focused on today’s children and families. The two-day annual event, held from October 26 at 6 pm – 8 pm and October 27 at 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, is centered around the theme, “Humans Being: The Art & Science of Emotionally Thriving People.” Attendees will engage in experiences aimed at understanding how to create a world of emotionally thriving people, for themselves and for the children with whom they work.
The conference welcomes award-winning physician, researcher and public health leader, Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, as their opening keynote speaker. Day two will feature Dr. Adam Saenz, CEO of the Applied EQ Group, Nedra Glover Tawwab, author of the New York Times bestsellers Drama Free and Set Boundaries, Find Peace, Dr. Wendy Suzuki, world-renowned neuroscientist, as well as, Dr. Leslie Korn, best known for her work as a traumatologist specializing in mental health nutrition.
