Mobile food pantry event hosted by UNT Dallas and the North Texas Food Bank

As summer heats up and school cafeterias go quiet, many North Texas families face a growing challenge: keeping nutritious food on the table. With rising grocery prices and reduced food-assistance benefits –and with Texas now leading the nation in hunger – UNT Dallas’ monthly food pantry continues to be a critical resource for the community. In partnership with the North Texas Food Bank, UNT Dallas will host its next free, drive-thru food distribution event on Friday, June 20, from 9 a.m.-noon (or while supplies last) at its southern Dallas campus.
