Job Training for Adults with Special Needs

We are excited to open a new branch of the Hugs Training Academy in Dallas on January 3rd! Hugs Cafe, Inc. opened a Training Academy in 2022 to take our vocational training beyond those we currently employ at the cafe and greenhouse. The Hugs Training Academy curriculum is focused on providing entry level skills to students so they are ready to enter the workforce in the culinary or hospitably fields.

We are looking for volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our new site at Dallas College. Times are 10am-3pm and classes begin January 3rd.

There will be a short training in December available via zoom or on site at Dallas College. A background check and food handlers’ certificate will be required for volunteers.
