Join the Friends of the Dallas Public Library, an organization founded in 1950 to support the essential work of Dallas Public Library, for their Literary Lions Luncheon at the Arts District Mansion on Wednesday, April 9.
The Luncheon will celebrate the 75th anniversary of FODPL and honor the individuals and families who founded the organization. Taking place during National Library Week, the event will feature keynote remarks from award-winning author Ben Fountain on the importance of libraries in our communities.
Guests will enjoy a seated lunch and an engaging conversation led by Fountain, with proceeds of the event benefiting the 28 full-service library branches across Dallas and supporting the educational programs offered by the Dallas Public Library.
