Feed The City: Denton

Feed the City: Denton (Tango Charities) is a hands-on volunteer event where participants assemble sandwiches and pack meals for neighbors in need. It’s easy to jump in—volunteers work in simple stations (bread, protein/cheese, bagging, chips/fruit, packing), so no experience is needed, and it’s great for individuals or groups (clubs, families, teams).

Volunteers also help by bringing supplies listed on the registration page (ex: bread, pre-packaged deli meat, sliced cheese, chips, tangerines, etc.), which is what makes the meal packing possible.

We meet monthly on the 3rd Saturday of each month all year long. Our next event is Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 8:30–10:30 AM at 215 S Bell Ave, Denton, TX 76201 (Union Bear Brewing Co.). Volunteers receive 3 hours of volunteering and should register in advance.
