Dallas-based co-ed independent school, The Compass School of Texas, invites guests to their upcoming Open House on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This special come-and-go event is an opportunity for families to explore the unique educational environment and programs offered at the Compass School of Texas. Attendees will have the chance to meet faculty, current parents, and students while learning about and experiencing some of the school’s signature innovative curriculum.
The Compass School of Texas’ Open House offers a wonderful opportunity for prospective students and their families to experience a day in the life of a Compass student and discover what makes the school an exceptional place for early childhood education. At the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to experience the Farm-to-Table program, feed the Compass chickens, learn strategy and sportsmanship in chess, and practice a few yoga poses. Prospective students will also learn how science is brought to life on a tour of the nature-filled Compass School of Texas campus.
During the Open House, families can look forward to meeting and connecting with current Compass parents, students, and faculty. Attendees are invited to explore the natural classrooms and experience firsthand the learning environment, with opportunities to meet educators across all academic grades, from Pre-K through 3rd grade.
There will be two information sessions at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to provide more details about the school’s approach to education and details about the admissions process from the Compass School of Texas’ Head of School, Shelly Sender.
