Compass School of Texas: November Fireside Chat

Dallas-based co-ed independent school, The Compass School of Texas, is excited to continue its educational and exciting new speaker series and host a Fireside Chat focused on “Mental Health and Anxiety: The importance of physical well-being and connection to nature.” This engaging event will take place on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the prestigious HALL Arts Hotel.

This Fireside Chat will address the impact of excessive screen time on youth, highlighting the importance of outdoor activity and human interaction. With the rise of anxiety among students and parents, the chat will offer practical, actionable strategies to help families manage stress more effectively. Parenting tips and communication techniques will be shared to enhance interactions both at home and in other areas of life. Attendees will leave with concrete steps to create stronger connections and reduce anxiety in their day-to-day lives. HALL Wines and light bites will be served during the receptions before and after the panel.

The Compass School of Texas Fireside Chat series was established to ignite meaningful conversations around thought-provoking topics within the Dallas community. By collaborating with industry leaders and experts, Compass aims to empower community leaders and parents with invaluable insights and practical strategies that can be seamlessly integrated into their daily lives, both at home and in the workplace.
