Celebration! White Rock 5K, 10K Run & Party

“White Rock Lake Conservancy has partnered with the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department to bring Celebration! White Rock, the 10th annual 5k/10k race and festival to be held on April 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30p.m. at Winfrey Point on the east side of White Rock Lake.
This will be an opportunity to run at White Rock Lake and enjoy local food and drink after the run while overlooking the lake at sunset.
The party begins at 4:30pm when you can check-in for the run, grab a refreshment, enjoy a pre-run stretch, music by DJ Matthew Stafford and grab a photo at the start line in front of White Rock Lake.
Parking is available at Lake Pointe Church at Garland Road and Old Gate Lane with a free shuttle over to the start line
at Winfrey Point.
The 10k race begins at 6:00pm, the 5k at 6:05pm and the post-race festival will begin at 6:45pm with live music. Drinks will be provided by local sponsors such as Lakewood Brewing Co., Oak Highlands Brewery, White Rock Alehouse, which are all collaborating on a Race Day lager! Food will be provided to runners from local restaurants.”
