The Better Block Foundation, Dallas Foundation, Lumin Education, and Bachman Lake Together extend an invitation to join us in crafting a family-friendly outdoor space. We’re transforming a section of the parking lot at the Bachman Lake Together and Lumin Education site into a vibrant space featuring a traffic garden, ground mural, shade structures, and more. Designed with community input, this project will be brought to life by community members like you. Your involvement is crucial to completing the design. Volunteer workshops will center on painting the ground mural, beautifying the traffic garden, assembling wikiblock furniture, and more. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm! Through these workshops, we’ll delve into placemaking and discover how quality public spaces can positively impact communities. All ages are welcome.
