Dallas 24 Hour Club (The 24) – a nonprofit that provides transitional living, support services, and essential life skills for homeless alcoholics and addicts so they can embrace long-term sobriety and become contributing and self-supporting members of the community – received the prestigious Nonprofit of the Year award at the Center for Nonprofit’s Management’s “A Night of Light Awards Ceremony” in early November.

The Nonprofit of the Year award is given to the nonprofit that has demonstrated a strong performance across the following nomination categories: data-driven decision making, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement. Winning the Nonprofit of the Year award is a testament to the commitment and excellence of The 24 in utilizing data collection, statistics, and outcomes across four key areas. Receiving the award is a milestone in The 24’s journey over the past two to three years showcasing their dedication to utilizing statistics and data effectively.

“For The 24 to win the Nonprofit of the Year, as voted on by CNM Board and Staff, is a huge milestone for our program,” said Dallas 24 Hour Club CEO Tim Grigsby. “The timing is very fitting, as CEO Emeritus Marsha Williamson’s legacy is cemented by such a prestigious award. We have really taken data collection, interpretation, and data-driven decision making seriously since actively working with the CNM Outcomes Team using the CNM-pact® Services, and it has improved our organization and programs. It ultimately benefits the recipients of the program by improving what we do on a continuous basis.”
