Legendary Cowboys players, Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware and wide receiver Michael Gallup, joined Bank of America’s “Play It Forward” football clinic on Wednesday, October 30, at AT&T Stadium, bringing legendary expertise to nearly 100 youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tarrant County.
The clinic aimed to teach the fundamentals of football directly from sports icons while reinforcing essential life skills learned on the field—anticipation, focus, and resilience. It also provided underserved communities with meaningful access to sports and mentorship, inspiring young players for the future.
“As a former Boys & Girls Clubs member, I am so excited to attend the Bank of America Play It Forward Clinic alongside the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County to teach kids critical football skills and life skills while helping to grow the game of football,” DeMarcus Ware says.
Bank of America Fort Worth President Mike Pavell echoed the significance of the event, adding, “Bank of America is excited to be back with the Dallas Cowboys to host the Play It Forward Clinic again this year. We have a common goal of investing in youth and building a strong community, and what better way to do that than through the power of sports! The skills learned today, like focus and resiliency, are lessons that will resonate with these youth well into the future.”
