Ability Connection celebrates Thanksgiving with a meal provided by Central Market

Members of Ability Connection, a local DFW-based nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of people with disabilities, gathered together at the organization’s Training Center in Irving, Texas, on Friday, November 22 for its annual Thanksgiving feast. With food provided by a generous grant from Central Market, Ability Connection’s members enjoyed a full Thanksgiving meal complete with turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls, and delicious pies and cakes while celebrating their friendship and community.

Founded in 1953, Ability Connection is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that serves over 1,000 Texans with all types of intellectual or other developmental disabilities. Ability Connection provides world-class services to people, regardless of the severity/life impact of their disability, including therapies, training, housing, skill development, recreation, healthcare, adaptive equipment and various supplies. Its passion is providing the very highest quality of care and support to the community it serves.
