The concert will feature two winners of the Meadows Concerto Competition. Aliyah Book performs Alexander Glazunov’s last completed work, his Saxophone Concerto, and Seonghun Jeong performs the first movement of Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto. The program will conclude with Jean Sibelius’ optimistic fifth Symphony.
