Celebrated Canadian pianist and recording artist Jarred Dunn performs Chopin Mazurkas in this one-hour afternoon recital program offered by the Meadows Department of Piano Studies. Chopin’s Mazurkas are beloved for their emotional depth, folk influences, unique character, and expressive storytelling. Jarred Dunn has called a Chopin interpreter who can make “the Polishness audible in every note…elegance and noble … with a nuanced range of sounds.”
