Summer at the Arboretum, to be held June 3 to August 6, features uplifting sculptures by Gary Lee Price, live music and performances, and Family Fun Fridays in the 66-acre Dallas garden. Additional events include Pride in Bloom (June 10-11), Father’s Day and Juneteenth (June 17-19), Independence Weekend (July 1-4) and more.
The horticulture staff have planted more than 65,000 new plantings in June with 300 tropical elephant ears and 500 cannas creating the Arboretum’s signature summer look. According to U.S. News & World Report, the Dallas Arboretum is one of the “21 Top Things to Do in Texas.”
