WHAT PepsiCo hosts its 15th annual Day of Caring, in partnership with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, where more than 1,000 employee volunteers will come together to make a lasting impact across the metroplex. This year, the initiative will take place across more than 30 locations,
exemplifying PepsiCo’s dedication to supporting the Dallas community and reinforcing the importance of collective efforts to create positive change.

This year’s event coincides with United Way’s Centennial Celebration, highlighting a shared commitment to improving education, income, and health across North Texas. Nearly 90 volunteers will focus on critical renovations at the Cornerstone Community Center in southern Dallas, including debris removal, painting, and organization.

Cornerstone Community Center plays a vital role as a community partner in Southern Dallas Thrives, a collaborative initiative launched in 2018 by United Way and PepsiCo. The program aims to drive measurable progress in education, food security, and workforce development throughout the southern sector of Dallas. Cornerstone Community Center serves as a critical resource for the Southern Dallas community, offering support to vulnerable populations through food distribution, clothing services, and assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness. Volunteers will help with much-needed renovations, including debris removal, painting, and organizing, to ensure Cornerstone can continue
serving its community effectively.
