About Miles of Freedom Miles of Freedom was founded in 2012 by Richard Miles. Following a wrongful conviction resulting in 15 years’ incarceration before finally being exonerated, Miles founded the organization as a way to provide hope and practical assistance to formerly incarcerated individuals, thereby equipping them to contribute to the public safety and economic stability of our community!
