Standing Up, Speaking Out: Creating a Hopeful Experience at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum

The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum was founded in 1984 by Dallas-area Holocaust Survivors, designed to teach the history of the Holocaust and advance human rights to combat prejudice, hatred, and indifference. Kindness, thoughtfulness, doing something, saying something—those are all attributes of upstanders, and inspiring upstanders is the heart and soul of the museum’s mission.
