Star Williams: From Military Service to Helping Students Achieve Big Goals
Star Williams was struggling with undiagnosed learning differences when a high school English teacher took the step to champion for her success. Star graduated on time, served in the Navy as an IT professional, and then returned to her Oak Cliff neighborhood to serve the students facing some of the same struggles she faced. By launching Stars United Global Outreach, Star has created programs for students to live a life of impact after high school, with college and career prep, along with goal setting and financial planning. Stars United programs are currently virtual, due to COVID-19, but registration is still open for the Blueprint for Success Leadership camp that beings on July 20.
