Nardos Designs: A Change in Design to Help Others
Nardos Imam is one of the top couture designers in Dallas, known for her lavish gowns. Yet, when the shelter-in-place orders came for Dallas county and her store and workshop temporarily closed, Nardos worked with local healthcare professionals to design a fabric mask that could help fill the shortage and protect those on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19. Now her design and sewing team is creating large orders of fabric masks for hospitals across the country, made with donated fabric from the Dallas community.
