John Poston’s Tulip Garden Makes Independent Living Possible for Adults with Disabilities
The tulip fields you see as you drive I-35 through Waxahachie are more than a beautiful garden. Established by John Poston, Poston Gardens is the for-profit extension that supports Daymark Living, an independent living community for adults with learning differences and intellectual disabilities. John’s mission for people like his own son, Michael, to be able to work and live in the same area has blossomed, and visitors from around the state are making their way to admire the tulips.
