Dr. George Keaton: Remembering Black Dallas
Dr. George Keaton spent 31 years devoting his life to the students of DISD as a teacher and guidance counselor, but when he learned about the black history preservation movement in Dallas, he found another purpose. His work with Remembering Black Dallas includes preserving oral history, creating awareness through tours, and maintaining Dallas’ first integrated graveyard.
