DESCRIPTION:Angelia Dunbar\, as Founder of the My Story Our Journey non-profit organization\, will host the 5th annual Survivors Ball. The event will uplift and honor a new group of “survivors” with an evening of celebration and recognition\, spotlighting their incredible journeys and accomplishments as they have overcome insurmountable odds. \nThe honorees’ stories span a wealth of survival categories from domestic violence to cancer to suicide survival\, assault\, near death experiences and more. Despite these challenges\, each and every one of these honorees have blossomed and overcome. Their quality of life has substantially increased and they are walking in purpose and passion every single day of their lives. \nThe event will be emceed by former Dallas Cowboy Everson Walls\, with special performances by Soulful Soundz\, and Gospel Artist Ashford Sanders — best known for his time on BET’s “Sunday Best”.
