SUMMARY:Each Moment Matters Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:The 2023 Each Moment Matters Luncheon\, benefiting the Faith Presbyterian Hospice Caring Fund\, will be held on Tuesday\, September 12\, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas\, Texas. This signature event provides benevolent care for unfunded patients\, as well as specialized programming and comfort therapies referred to as the “Faith Difference.” Last year\, proceeds from the luncheon provided more than 3\,500 days of charitable hospice care\, specialized grief support to 464 children and 3\,500 music and massage therapy sessions to Faith Presbyterian Hospice patients. \nIn addition\, this annual luncheon recognizes local individuals striving diligently to be an agent for positive change in their community\, who reflect the values of Forefront Living (Diversity\, Integrity\, Stewardship and Compassion) and who personify what it means to make each moment matter. \nThis year\, we are pleased to welcome author and attorney\, Jason B. Rosenthal\, as our featured speaker. While Jason is incredibly accomplished in a variety of areas\, he is most well-known for being the subject of an essay written by his late wife\, Amy Krouse Rosenthal\, entitled You May Want to Marry My Husband. This composition went viral when it appeared in the New York Times’ “Modern Love” column ten days before Amy’s death. Today\, Jason speaks and writes about issues related to processing grief and discovering hope and joy amongst the pain of loss.
