DESCRIPTION:Equest will host two Volunteer Training sessions on May 16 and May 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Prospective new volunteers only need to attend one session. \nThe training offers individuals the chance to engage in meaningful volunteer work\, whether their passion lies in working with horses\, engaging with children\, or welcoming people into specialized care. Please note\, volunteers aged 12 and 13 must be accompanied by a guardian. Interested individuals are required to complete the volunteer application in advance to attend training: www.equest.org/volunteer. \nEquest provides hope and healing to individuals with physical\, cognitive\, and developmental diagnoses through the human-horse connection. In 2025\, with 30 therapy horses and a dedicated team of professionals\, Equest impacted 727 individuals through direct services and reached an additional 1\,511 through outreach and education. 431 veterans were served through the Hooves for Heroes program.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to open a new branch of the Hugs Training Academy in Dallas on January 3rd! Hugs Cafe\, Inc. opened a Training Academy in 2022 to take our vocational training beyond those we currently employ at the cafe and greenhouse. The Hugs Training Academy curriculum is focused on providing entry level skills to students so they are ready to enter the workforce in the culinary or hospitably fields. \nWe are looking for volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our new site at Dallas College. Times are 10am-3pm and classes begin January 3rd.\nThe address is:\nDallas College Culinary\, Pastry and Hospitality Center\n11830 Webb Chapel Rd #1200\nDallas\, TX 75234 \nThere will be a short training in December available via zoom or on site at Dallas College. SUMMARY:Equest Volunteer Training
DESCRIPTION:Equest will host two Volunteer Training sessions on May 16 and May 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Prospective new volunteers only need to attend one session. \nThe training offers individuals the chance to engage in meaningful volunteer work\, whether their passion lies in working with horses\, engaging with children\, or welcoming people into specialized care. Please note\, volunteers aged 12 and 13 must be accompanied by a guardian. Interested individuals are required to complete the volunteer application in advance to attend training: www.equest.org/volunteer. \nEquest provides hope and healing to individuals with physical\, cognitive\, and developmental diagnoses through the human-horse connection. In 2025\, with 30 therapy horses and a dedicated team of professionals\, Equest impacted 727 individuals through direct services and reached an additional 1\,511 through outreach and education. 431 veterans were served through the Hooves for Heroes program.

Harris\, a Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor member who has lived with T1D and lost his father to the disease\, brings together celebrity athletes and supporters for a memorable day on the course. Sponsorships start at $2\,000 and foursome sponsorships begin at $7\,500.
