This year’s O’Neil Lecture in Business Journalism speaker is Elise Hu, correspondent and host-at-large for NPR and author of the 2023 book Flawless: Lessons in Looks and Culture from the K-Beauty Capital. The lecture begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by time for book signing.
The William J. O’Neil Lecture Series in Business Journalism brings outstanding business journalism professionals to the SMU campus each spring. It is part of a cooperative program in financial reporting developed in 2007 by Meadows’ Division of Journalism and the Cox School of Business through funding from SMU alumnus William J. O’Neil, chairman and CEO of Investor’s Business Daily.
