Brothers Empowering Food Deserts Communities with Above-Ground Gardens
Inspired by their mother’s vegan recipes, but also keenly aware of lack of access to fresh produce in southern Dallas, brothers Mene II and Jabari Khepera have launched a family business building raised garden beds. Over the last several months the Khepera family has built and delivered raised garden beds of all sizes to homes in Dallas, Cedar Hill, Grand Prairie, Forney, Pleasant Grove, and Oak Cliff.
